Danish Researcher/Politician internship visit to NoHoW

Christine Antorini, member of the Danish Parliament and Chairwoman of the Research, Innovation and Further Education Committee, visited the NoHoW project on a tour around Frederiksberg and Bispebjerg Hospital, on March 6th 2017, where she met with Professor Berit Heitmann of the Diet Research Unit, Parker Institute.

The visit was organized by the Danish Young Academy (www.youngacademy.dk) as part of a Researcher/Politician internship, inspired by similar arrangements between younger academics and the parliament of England and Sweden.  The former Minister for Education followed a working day of Prof. Tine Jess, a member of the academy,  that included a visit to a workstation where Danish participants in the NoHoW trial have their clinical measurements taken.
